I was born in Iowa City, Iowa, and moved to the Central Florida area at the age of 10. I am a proud product of Seminole County Schools, having graduated from Lake Brantley High School. I attended the University of Florida, majoring in Political Science. Following the receipt of my Bachelor of Arts, I moved on to law school at Florida State University, and then returned to pursue my legal career in the Orlando area upon graduation.
My first attorney position was with a prominent boutique Orlando firm that represented the State of Florida, several local counties, and cities in complex workers’ compensation litigation. I also represented several commercial enterprises in complex civil litigation matters related to warranty defects, premises liability, product defects, insurance disputes, and contract negotiations.
Then I went on to represent large multinational lenders and investors across the State of Florida in contract disputes and foreclosure litigation. This again provided me with a wealth of knowledge I have continued to apply and use to my clients’ benefit.
I now focus on representing individuals and families in matters that significantly impact their day-to-day life. For the last five years I have proudly and diligently represented hundreds of families and individuals in diverse areas of practice from personal injury, contract dispute negotiation and litigation, business disputes, zoning enforcement issues, consumer law, workers compensation, social security disability, and foreclosure matters.
I take pride in aggressively pursuing and defending my clients’ interests and obtaining the most beneficial outcome for them.
I have obtained significant settlements and won many trials on my clients’ behalves.
I enjoy traveling with my wife, playing golf, mountain biking, and trail running.
